FOSTER FAMILY AS A FORM OF DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY’ SUPPORT

A child deprived of opportunity to grow in a family environment is exposed to numerous abnormalities and disorders. Natural dysfunctional family generates various forms of orphanhood and the necessity to look for a foster family. Among foster families those related to a child dominate. Orphans who lost both parents constitute only a small percentage of wards adopted by foster families. Among abandoned children social orphans prevail, mainly those who grew in the families where problem of alcoholism concerned one or both parents. Regularly, children from incapable of handling life families become orphans - often as the result of unemployment, poverty, illness, mental illness, lack of education, and elementary psychological-pedagogical knowledge, as well as the inability to organize a daily life.
